I hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months. We are all looking forward to getting back to work even if it is a "new normal". There have been some changes in the way we do things. Rest assured these changes are consistent with our constant commitment to your health and safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for my practice. These processes are in place to make it a safe and comfortable for for both patients and staff. We are constantly following the updates from the American Dental Association (ADA),
the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to keep our processes up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance.
The changes you will notice are as follows.
My office will ask you some screening questions beforehand and again at your appointment time. Your temperature will be taken and recorded at your appointment.
You will asked to wait in your car until we call you up for your appointment. You should wear a mask and use the hand sanitizer provided upon entering the office.
We are trying to manage the appointments so as to maintain social distancing during your visit.
You will notice there are no magazines or children toys as these are difficult to clean and sanitize. There are plexiglass barriers at the reception area to allow for staff and patient protection,
I have installed several hepa filtration units in the office. I have also installed UV-C air scrubbers on the HVAC systems. This technology eradicates bacteria and viruses in the circulating air.
You will notice that the staff are wearing additional PPE ( still the same people underneath )
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions about the steps we have taken for everyone's safety Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.
Richard P. Denise D.D.S.
We have added extra-oral suction units. They can draw 200 cfm, and include a charcoal filter, hepa filter and a uv-c light to eliminate all bacteria and viruses.
